All citizens are cordially invited to participate in the march for human rights on Saturday 21 September 2024. CCHR, which has its headquarters here in Italy in Milan, calls for a stop to psychiatric abuse.
What does the CCDU do?
Every year a large number of people contact CCDU to report abuses and violations of Human Rights in the field of Mental Health. CCDU documents such abuses and, when possible, helps the person to report them to the relevant authorities.
It also conducts research on certain aspects in the field of mental health, such as the false diagnoses made on children, labelled ‘mentally ill’ and their treatment with psychotropic drugs.
Internationally, CCDU’s research has led to criminal prosecutions of more than a thousand psychiatrists, psychologists and mental health workers. This has led politicians and insurance companies to deny funding for harmful psychiatric practices and to pass laws to protect the human rights of people in psychiatric settings.

Starting from Stazione Centrale using public transport:
Subway
- Take the M2 (Green) Line towards Abbiategrasso/Assago Milanofiori Forum.
- Get off at Cadorna FN.
- Change to the M1 (Red) Line towards Rho Fiera/Bisceglie.
- Get off at the Cairoli stop.
- From there, you can walk about 15 minutes to the Arco della Pace or take the tram.
Tram
- From Central Station, take tram Line 1 towards Greco.
- Get off at the Arco della Pace stop.
Bus
- Take bus line 43 from Central Station.
- Get off at the Piazza Sempione stop, which is near the Arco della Pace.
Starting from Cascina Gobba using public transport:
Subway
- Take the M2 (Green) Line towards Abbiategrasso/Assago Milanofiori Forum.
- Get off at Cadorna FN.
- Change to M1 (Red) Line towards Rho Fiera/Bisceglie.
- Get off at the Cairoli stop.
- From there, you can walk about 15 minutes to Arco della Pace or take the tram.

- From the Cadorna FN stop, take the tram Line 1 in the direction of Greco.
- Get off at the Arco della Pace stop.
Bus
- Take the Line 43 bus from the Cadorna FN stop.
- Get off at the Piazza Sempione stop, which is near the Arco della Pace.
Starting from the Bignami metro station using public transport:
Subway
- Take the M5 (Lilac) Line towards San Siro Stadio.
- Get off at Garibaldi FS.
- Change to M2 (Green) Line towards Abbiategrasso/Assago Milanofiori Forum.
- Get off at Cadorna FN.
- Change to the M1 (Red) Line in the direction of Rho Fiera/Bisceglie.
- Get off at the Cairoli stop.
- From there, you can walk about 15 minutes to Arco della Pace or take the tram.
